JEROME ISMA-AE RESIDENT DJ’s: MARIO & JURKII Support by Crystal Tours During the cold winter days of 2010 a plan was made in the offices of Papaya club in Zagreb for the upcoming season 2011. We tried making this season’s music content as good as possible. Nine festivals with world’s top DJ’s appearances including the mundane dance attraction Swedish House Maffia, world’s DJ number one; Armin Van Buuren, followed by Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Fatboy Slim and many others. Being a leader in the entertainment world in Croatia and in the PR area we are, we tried to push the limit and transmit the energy of the club to media and guests all over the world. Although the season has just ended, the preparations for the upcoming are about to begin. The following results put a difficult task, but we promise you that year 2012 will be your dream summer in Papaya.
Jerome Isma-Ae Jerome Isma-Ae, born in Munich with Thai-roots, is an out-and out musician. Jerome has already released almost 100 productions of his own and remixed quite a few artists from all over the world. He was the first German to produce tracks for the US-cult label Strictly Rhythm (as Future Funk with Marcel Krieg). In 2002 he remixed “Nightcrawlers’ Push The Feeling On”, which reached Number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Charts. 2007 has been his most successful producing year. Each of his productions reached the Top 20, most of them Top 10, at Beatport (eg “Phantom” (Jee), the remix of “Enjoy the Silence” or “fivefivezero” with his project Moldan & Isma-Ae on Nick Warren’s Label Hope Recordings. He gets massive support from big names such as: Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Tiesto, Deep Dish, Chus & Ceballos, Ferry Corsten, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. Jerome is well known for his energetic and propulsive DJ-sets and productions and is booked all over the world.

AFTER PARTY: Papaya & Aquarius A BIGGER and BETTER BIG BEACH is to be organized July 21st, 2012 on world famous Zrće Beach, Novalja on the beautiful Island of Pag in Croatia. Legendary DJ CARL COX with his first appearance on the Island of Pag will headline the 2nd ANNUAL BIG BEACH event that attracted more than 10 000 clubbers from around the world in 2011 with FATBOY SLIM. You don’t have to go looking for a party when Crookers hit your town; the Italian duo have been selling out venues worldwide with their quirky, power-rave productions and their unpredictable DJ sets. One day you could hear them dropping a banger set and the other day they could just drop a straight UK-bass driven set. Welcome them to Papaya (beach Zrce, island Pag)! In 2008 Crookers’ range choice goes off with “Day ‘n’ Nite”, a remix of, at the time unknown, Kid Cudi. The hit enters the U.K. charts at 2# (giving way to Lady Gaga) and guarantees Crookers a place in world’s dance Hall of Fame. They are asked to remix for Armand Van Helden and Chemical Brothers, who state, “The Italians are something to look out for”. Praises from Black Eyed Peas’ Will I Am and Norman Cook, otherwise known as Fat Boy Slim, will soon be added to those of the two londoner fake brothers. Hereafter it’s a non stop rising. Interscopes Jimmy Iovine (on his son’s request, a fierce fan of the duo) asks them to remix U2, followed by Britney Spears and Lady Gaga & Beyonce who just want Crookers to lay a hand on “Telephone”.

The first Croatian AFTER BEACH FESTIVALS, held last two years at Papaya (2010. & 2011.), accompanied by David Morales, The Shapeshifters, Dirty South, Norman Doray and Tom Novy increased the criteria for the steamy and burning after beach party atmosphere. During those 2 years over 20 000 people from all over the world visited the Festivals and enjoyed the parties below the sunny sky! The privilege to open this year’s After Beach Festival @ Papaya is one of the currently hottest DJ/producer in the world – THOMAS GOLD (Wednesday , August 1st)! Thomas Gold has played biggest festivals, clubs and venues all over the world, and is the owner of probably one of the biggest club hits from 2011. (ADELE – Set Fire To The Rain (Thomas Gold Remix)). This will be his 1st ever Papaya Appearance in club Papaya on Beach Zrce! Second day of the festival will feature one more exclusive and 1st Croatia appearance; club Papaya will host ALEX KENJI (Thursday , August 2nd)! Italian DJ that is in the music business more then 10 years, played at every corner of the planet, author of many hit singles (the biggest one „Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji – Pressure“) is finally coming to Papaya.
